DVC/AP discount ?

I have a question regarding the discount we get via DVC or AP on booking rooms with cash..
Does that discount apply only to rooms AT WDW properties or can they be used at the Off-Site vacation clubs (Namely, Hilton Head)?
And do we call DVC member services to do this? Last time I tried doing it I got nowhere and just gave up and paid the regular rate through reservations

Regarding the DVC member discount, it's only for DVC properties (meaning not the other non-DVC Disney resorts). I don't actually know if HHI and VB are included, but I assume that they are. Nowhere else though. I don't know what Nalemy is - not a DVC resort that I have ever heard of.

And yes you book through MS and it's subject to availability.

AP holder discounts would be an entirely different thing - booked through Disney, not related to DVC in any way.

Changed it to read namely, Hilton Head...as that is where I am interested in!

I think I remember last winter they had a good discount at Hilton Head and possibly Vero Beach. Anyone else remember?

Yes, HHI is included but like the other resorts the 25% member discount isn't always available. We have done several stays at HHI where we would pay cash for a couple nights using the member discount and then the remainder of the stay on points.

When you call MS to book the reservation they can tell you which nights are available for the cash discount and which ones aren't. In the past when we've done it they didn't even require us to pay for the cash nights at the time of booking, but rather at check-in. It has been a few years since we booked any cash nights so that policy may have changed.
