When we walked away from the counter, I told my wife that we just saved $3,000. Almost $4,000 Canadian. We were VERY appreciative.

Now I'm 10 times as jealous. You didn't have a family of 12 did you???? If you did, please don't tell me, I couldn't take it.

Maybe it was under a "we love out of USA visitors" program. Of course I just made up that program.

That is really lovely - and helpful considering it was extra hard for people to visit from outside the US.

We had some similar help with AP renewals as well, now holding APs that expire in Dec 2022? Not clear, but we got "renewals" that didn't start until we first activated them.

No - we had annual passes in 2019-2020 and took advantage of the brief window in August? September? when you could renew and when we did, they credited us more time than just the parks-closed time.

Will we have to go to Guest relations to get an actual card? if so, can we do that after entering the park, or do we do it outside the park?

I have never been able to get thru a gate w/o going to GR and getting the card. I think they technically activate (turn it 'on') it then.

OK…usually we have renewed in person, in a park. Thank you. We’ll go to a guest service the day we arrive. It wasn’t a park day.
