For those wondering - one of the people in my account has a ticket for this fall and it is absolutely not an option to upgrade that ticket to an annual pass so I'm going to have to call for that one.

It's a benefit of being a DVC member but you actually have to log in and purchase on disneyworld site not the DVC site since DVC doesnt actually sell tickets.
