Looks like we will actually be at WDW during the Annual Meeting in December, although we are staying off-site in a Sheraton timeshare. So, we are planning on attending, just because we can (own 175 pts. at SSR). What is it like? Is it worth it to go, at least once?

I say go at least once. IMO it's Disney doing what's required to meet their legal obligation. Structured scripted business meeting, a little dog and pony show, reports of what they accomplished during the year and a very short question and answer session.

I've gone to a couple and didn't think it was worth losing vacation time. There's the formal business meeting first. Then they have a presentation regarding DVC plans and then they take questions from the audience. The answers are pretty much fluff.

The date of the meeting this year is December 8th. Time and location yet to be announced. Keep checking on the member web site. They don't make it easy to find.

1) Everyone should go once.
. . . a) they have cake, ice cream and desserts
. . . b) they fully address all of your concerns
. . . c) they let you bring up suggestions/motions from the floor
. . . d) they go over the financials quickly
. . . e) they let you vote on all sorts of changes
2) OK, so they don't do #a, #b, #c, or #e.
3) But, at least they breeze through #d.

You need to add that they usually don't tell you when or where the meeting is until the last minute. This year they at least gave us the date early. Maybe they are getting more comfortable being around Members?
