DVC and QSDP

We are staying 1 night at BWV then moving to BLT for 2 nights on points and the reservation is linked. I want to do the QSDP for our stay, my questions is will we end up with 2 sets of mugs? and will I have to check in at BLT to get the meals for that those to nights? It would be nice to get all the meals on the first set of keys for the whole stay but I have a feeling that may be a pipe dream. Thanks!

You will have 2 separate QSDPs, one for each stay.

I don't think your reservations are really linked either, not that it would matter, because you can't link reservations at 2 separate resorts.

2 resorts = 2 reservations = 2 dining plans.

Just be grateful you don't have to buy tickets with each part of the stay, like non DVC members or non AP holders.

Also, your credits for the BWV portion will expire at midnight of your BWV check-out date.

Thanks, now I recall, it's the two resies I have at BLT that are linked, I had forgotten you can't link two resort ressies. Our credits will definitely be used before we head over to BLT I just wanted to have the BLT credits early in the day.

Will it be possible for me to check in at BLT at like 7am just to get our keys with our meal plan before I check out at BWV or will I have to check out of BWV before I can check in at BLT (I know our room won't be ready which is fine, I just want the keys with the QS credits). We check in to BWV wed for 1 night, so can I get up Thurs am, hop on the first bus to MK (emh am day) check in at BLT, ride mono rail over to EPCOT and meet DH and kids there. While I'm doing check in at BLT DH would get kids ready and get our bags down to bell services to transfer to BLT, check out and then head to EPCOT. Will this plan work??? I want to have our BLT QS credits to use that day at EPCOT for lunch before we head to BLT for our midday rest. TIA!

Yes, you can check-in at BLT at 7am and get your room keys with the dining credits loaded.

Here is another thought.

Your short stay is a excellent opportunity to do the regular or deluxe DDP for the first day. As PP your credits are good until midnight of day 2.
