DVC and park passes

Hello DISers! My family and I are thinking of renting points from Dave's site. Before we take the plunge, I have a few questions. I am not sure if this is where I should post these questions.

Once I get a DVC resort reservation and link to my MDE acct, can I purchase park passes through Disney? Do I then link them to my DVC resort reservation? Is that pretty easy? Will I then be able to do fastpasses at 60 days? Any other tips/advice would I need to know?

You can purchase park admission from any authorized Disney ticket seller. This can be direct from Disney (phone or website) or one of many authorized 3rd party ticket sellers (like Undercover Tourist, Maple Leaf Tickets, etc.). Once you have the tickets, you link them to your MDE account. Depending on the number of park days and other ticket options desired, the 3rd party resellers may save you a few dollars (or more) over direct from Disney prices. Tickets from 3rd party resellers can be linked to MDE just like those purchased direct from Disney.

If you have both a room reservation & park admission linked to MDE, you will be able to make advance FP+ selections beginning at 60 days from your check-in date.
