DVC and Free Dining??

Can DVC owners take advantage of Disney promos such as free dining or ticket upgrades? I know these promos are usually only offered as part of a package so I was wondering how that worked. Do you need to book a cash ressie or can you use points and still qualify? Thanks!!

Nope, free dining is only through CRO with cash thru their package, no free dining on points. sorry.

Actually, you can. But it would require that you make a reservation with CRO for a package to stay at a DVC resort (or any other resort you choose). But you cannot use points and get free dining. Sorry.
