DVC and D23

Any predictions on whether we'll get any fun DVC news during D23 this weekend? Anyone expect a DVC element at the Star Wars Hotel? (I don't).

I expect an update on Reflections but can't think of much more that make be in the works.

Curious to hear what you guys think.

It will be interesting to see if DVC is brought up. I would think Reflections would be mentioned, and hopefully an announcement of the next resort. But with two resorts to talk about (Riv and Ref) they may wait a year or so to make any new announcements.

I agree that that it is extremely unlikely, almost unworkable, for there to be a DVC component to the STar Wars hotel, as that is reportedly going to be an immersive experience type vacation. If the popularity of the immersive experience ever starts to die down, then they may convert it to a regular resort with a Star Wars theme with a DVC component add-on. But not looking for that to happen anytime soon.

I doubt they announce what comes after Reflections. Reflections isn't even a real hole in the ground yet and won't be until they finish Riviera.

They could reveal they are removing the Riviera resale restrictions.

Obviously I don't think this will happen but it would be nice.

This wouldn't be a D23 thing. They would do this at the Condo Meeting in December. Most of D23 does not care about DVC.

Reflections will have lakeside cabins and treehouses. Also a Princess and the Frog restaurant.
