DVC and AP Dining Discounts: For our Guests as well?

Hi! Down to double digits from our next trip and the fever has hit me! Two questions about discounts:

1. Inlaws will be staying with the four of us in 2BR. We also have a family of three staying in a studio on our points. That's a total of 5 guests on our points. Will they be able to get DVC dining discounts as guests staying on our points? What if I pick up the tab? (They would reimburse me...)

2. I read that AP dining discounts are good for AP holder and three guests. If 4 out of 9 of us have APs, will they only give 3 guests the discounts?

Last year they always granted me the DVC discount for the four of us and our two guests. I get the feeling the CMs aren't always well versed in the discounts, and the manager has some flexibility. Any thoughts? Thanks!!!

All of the Key to the World Cards will say "DVC member" on them. That should do it for the discount but if you have to show the blue card, do so and you will get a discount for the entire party. It really won't matter who pays.

Since you have 4 AP's, that should be enough for 16 of you total to get a discount. You get a total of 4 discounts for each AP.

Have fun.
