The afghan is absolutely beautiful. I have crocheted a few things in my day but nothing that could ever compare to this. We arrive at OKW on Oct 19. I will be sure to look for it on display!

It is BEAUTIFUL - you are very gifted! I saw it in the VM and pointed it out to my DH. The I was really excited to see where you are from - DH is from Lorain and I was born in Elyria. Just nice to see someone so close to home.

Darla, it is absolutely beautiful!! So it is all single crochets? I have only completed a few afghans myself, but it will be a long winter. I will try doing what you said, blowing up the picture and placing it on a grid.

I will be arriving in FL on Friday, we aren't staying at OKW this time, but I will try to get over there and look for it.

I must admit that I did not read this thread for a couple of days because I thought you were reffering to a DVCer, from AFGHANISTAN, possibly sporting a turbin.

Yes, it's single Crochet. Very easy stitch, once you get past the colors, it goes pretty fast! And, it's fun watching it form
