DVC 7th Year Christmas Tree Sharing a Little Holiday Magic.

There's no reason for the tree to stay as it is! This will be the 3rd year the tree is returning to VWL and we can consider it a work in progress.

We did this back in '05 when we went in December. I have a pic of the tree that we shared. We didn't do any other decorating in our room. We brought an ornament along that represented us/our state to leave with the tree. it was so much fun, I am gald we get to be part of it again this year!

I saw this thread back in July and had absolutely no idea how to participate, but would love to!

We will be @ BLT 12/13-12/18, then VWL 12/18-12/24/09 and would LOVE to share/donate a tree.

I would mostly like to have the tree 12/18-24th but saw no availability. Is there any way to participate or did I miss the boat? Thanks!

Funny, I pulled the AKV #2 tree out last weekend!

I still have the money in the envelope inside the box and will use that to ship it back to AKV. Definitely need a new box this year!! This one has had it!

Wdwstar, a link to last years thread would be neat! I know we had many tree photos posted there. Also, would help first timers know how it worked

I recommend we not bump it to the top so as not to confuse it with this years thread for the newbies. Last year was the 6th year and this year is number 7!!

Also SPOILER ALERT!!!!!! There are lots of great photos of last years trees on pages 25-31 of last years thread. I did the scrolling for you!

It is neat to look back on how much fun we all had last year (and not so much fun with some shipping issues) and it was all worth it and looking forward to this year! Great reminder to myself to use Fedex this year and get a new box

Thanks for posting the link, it will be very helpful for newbies, AND a good reminder for me of the whole process.
Every day I tell myself "go get your AKV tree out of the attic". It is time to get it out, check it over in preparation for shipping.
Love this wonderful sharing of the trees!

Is the tree share full? I just found this thread yesterday but would love to get in on it. I'll be at BWV 12/23 - 01/06 but certainly wouldn't need it the whole two weeks. Although over Christmas would be especially nice
