Good question, I suppose if you take it through border control and then bring it back as carry on then why not?

It must be part of your 'allowance' but how would they stop it, they will sell it first cruise hand it to you last night, then its yours.

we are from Canada so we shouldn't have an allowance do you think, I we have the same room for both cruises, I was wondering about just leaving in my room? We are going from Vancouver to San Diego then through the panama
