I got my son all excited to go to DW, rounded up enough people for the group rate, the tickets will be coming soon, and now I'm looking at the site and it doesn't look like he can go on a single ride since the max. height on all of them is 36" and 48". He is I think 53". Will there be ANYTHING for him to ride at all?

We are going to Hershey for a day too, but he was really excited about this and riding stuff with his sister.

He should be bale to ride everything. I called not to long ago for clarification on what I was looking at online. According to the person I spoke to, heghts listed are the minimum and anyone over that can ride. They have the rides broken down into different groups ( under 36", 36-42, 42-48, ect.) The height listed on the website is the range for the smallest allowed on the ride. For example, the "Sky Ride" is listed as "under 36" ". This doesn't mean that only people under 36" can ride, but that even people under 36" can ride. I hope that this helps. If I did not do a good job of explaining it please PM me and I'll try again.

There are many rides your son will be able to go on. When my children were younger I went to most of the rides with them. I have been on two roller coasters, the swings, log flume ride, train, bumper cars, sky ride, water park, parachute ride, and many more. Have fun, its a great place for younger kids but your son will have fun too.

Whew! Thanks guys!! I was worrying about this all night

He will definitly be able to go on alot. Its a nice park, that being said i took my kids about 3 years ago and my older one was 7 and did not love that park - but he enjoys scary rollercoasters so i guess it depends on him.

My son loves all rides, and is developmentally younger than 11 so I know he will have fun!

Thanks everyone!

I know you're already had your question answered but he should be able to get on everything that parents can ride with their children.

It is a great park. We do it annually. I'm thinking next year will be our last year though. My almost 7yr old will be ready for the bigger rides.
