I recently found a 4 piece plastic train set that is marked Durham Industries. From everything I can gather it was made at some point in the 1970s. The front train has the name Casey Jr on it, and it's green, blue, yellow, and red. It is battery operated, possible C or D batteries, haven't gotten to test it yet. There are 3 separate cars that connect behind it that have little slots inside that hold different characters, and when the train moves, the characters move up and down. The cars are white, red, and blue, and have a Mickey, Donald Duck, and Pluto. Does anyone have any information about what something like this may be worth? Literally the only thing I can find online is from a company called Worthpoint that's a paid subscription site.

Did you try to find the exact product name on Google images yet? Enter something like

durham train casey mickey toy

In search box and play around with key words till you find the model. That will help narrow the search

I've tried just about everything. It appears Durham made a very similar set with a different color scheme that was circus themed, but for some reason this Disney version can't be found anywhere. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

Great! My recommendation next would be to try to use a name closer to what's on the box to search it in U.S. and see if you come up with any other examples. It seems its a disneyland thing so that will narrow it down. I use google and then toggle to google images and sometimes a surprising site will pop up w/ info like etsy or pinterest. If you can't find any currently listed in the U.S. then you can kind of put whatever price (within reason) that you want on it IMHO. Or if you are a collector, buy this one from EU as I think the price seems pretty fair actually (though I didn't pay attention to what shipping would cost ) and keep it boxed and sell your unboxed one to offset the cost.

I appreciate all the advice! I tried Google image searching this train and still nothing would come up. I may try and go for the boxed one and sell off the opened train, or just get the boxed train and have both. Thank you so much!
