Duplicates on pinpics...

I was perusing pinpics, looking for the sixth pin in a Roger Rabbit series from 1987 and came upon what appear to be duplicates. #5013 and #2875 both titled Roger in Handcuffs and #5012 and #2873 titled Baby Herman Crying/Bawling.
I know, I know...way too much time on my hands. What do you expect...I'm not going to WDW next week so I have no packing or planning to do. Woe is me...

There do indeed appear to be dupes. I find the second set of scans to be more detailed and easy to recognize. I am not sure how to go about keeping the new scan and booting the old. I will fiddle around with it. If I screw it up I can always call for help from our beloved Pin Lord

Kathryn,

You have to copy the Pic to your hard drive then replace the poorer one with the better one. I'll check these out when I get home later.

Could it also be possible to replace a few bad images? I mean, not a personal attack at all, but if the original poster can't provide a clearer picture, I'd love to volunteer to send clearer images of the following pins:
643 and 1081. When I saw the pins in person, they looked so different!

Yes we would replace the pics if you send us a clearer scan... There are many pins in the database that we would like to do this too.... you can send either Dom or myself...

Dom I will do some replacing and deleting if you haven't already done it....

I looked at the Animal Kingdom one and due to the fact that one says CM and one is public and I know there are several really similar pins that look like this with different finishes I can not determine whether these are duplicates of each other so for the time being I am going to leave them... I did change the others and delete them as well as finding one more from the same series.. Keep up the good work guys.

Hey Charlene ...........if you are looking for something to do.....I know a really good place that has great pizza. I did hear that the Stuffed Peppers and the Fettucine Alfredo are pretty good too.

Hey, Kathie...the stuffed peppers were so good that I could smell them for the next 24 hours. He loved them. We'll certainly be back soon. Fettucini is my favorite, which is obvious by my size. Yours ranks right up there.

the thing is, I am sure those AK pins are the same ones. We need to ask the ones who posted the pics if the inscription on the back reads " A new species of theme park opens 1998". If so, They're the same!

I know Disney underappreciated that park skimping on expenses to get rid of that hideous, boring design in most of their older pins.

I will send someone the new scans of the other two pins within a day.
