dunno ride broke down

We were in the queue play area and in the one area to climb a pipe or something burst, knocked a kid down, and filled the floor with liquid. It smelled really chemically. Anyone know what happened? They evacuated us immediately and closed both down.

This is pure speculation, but if it had a chemically smell, it was probably a chilled water pipe. (Used in commercial air conditioning) these typically have more chemicals than drinking water and are sometimes part alcohol which would also have a smell.

We were in que for dumbo on June 9 when a pipe burst in the play area as well and they cleared the area and shut down the ride for about 30 minutes. It sprayed many guests and kids. It looked like water pipe but had chemical odor as well was a large pipe maybe 6" pipe. I wish I had video taped it but was unsure of the danger and just wanted to gather my kids and get out of there.

Is it the ride (with hydrolics) or something in the play area that is bursting? Interesting it happened twice so close together.
