The girls at my DD put the sugar in, and pour in about an inch of hot coffee to melt the sugar, then they add the ice, iced coffee, and milk.

And isn't it SO New England for them to ask if your ordering Hot or Iced ,when it's 40 degrees out?

Reading this thread got me thinking about what people get when they ask for a "regular" coffee.

Up here in NH we all know "regular" means cream and sugar.

I don't use sugar in my coffee iced or hot, but My DD asks for "Melted" sugar... all the time. She orders a large French Vanilla Iced Coffee with 4 MELTED sugars! This way is all melted/mixed up already.
