Dunkin Donaholic Here!

I know I should ask this on the "Orlando Hotels & Attractions" board but I find I don't get any answers over there when I need to! So I will ask here...where is the closest Dunkin' Donuts to Windsor Hills resort? Where is the closest one if you are staying in the park? I ask for both because we will be doing WH & POR this trip. We Bostonian's love our Dunks!

I honesly cant answer your ? but I can attest Dunkin kills Krispy Kream all day long!! Gawd I miss Dunkin!

It must be pretty far out or I'vce never seen them. I too am a DDaholic and go through withdrawal on Disney vacations. In fact- i go through overall coffee withdrawal becasue it is so bad there overall. You have tokind of search to find a decent cup. So happy this upcoming trip we are at the Poly so at least I can get Kona coffee. Sometimes we are at SOG and they have a Starbucks stand but it isn't great.

I know the last time we were there we stayed at AKL and left the park via the exit near there (I am clueless when it comes to roads and driving down there, DH does it all). There was a Wendy's and Dunks was in a little plaza across the street. Didn't know if there was one other than that though...trying to plan ahead...don't do well in the morning without my Dunks!

I am a big DD fan too. For emergency and sanity purposes, bring your own beans and to-go coffee cups and make coffee in your room so you can take your brew w/you.

My DH is a DD lover too! He always packs DD coffee so he doesn't go through withdrawls!

OP, I thought I was the only one figuring out donut places before we left for Windsor Hills I have been using Yahoo Yellow Pages with our rental townhome's address to figure out what is nearby. From what I can see, there is one approx. 1 mile from WH on 192.

I'm a reformed DD addict, and I have to say I still get amazed how there isn't one on every corner once you get farther south than CT. What is up with that?????

I used Google Earth to find nearby restaurants and I remember a Dunkin Donuts popping up very close to WH.

We always stop at the one at ?Lake Popka? that has the little gas station when you get on the toll road. We get a HUGE box of donut holes, and each of us picks out a few regular donuts too. When we get to the hotel, the first thing we do is put our donut holes in ziplocs and put them in our travel fridge LOL They last us 2-3 days in to our vacation before they are either #1 stale, or #2 already gone!!! We get some on the way out of town too...we love them. We do not have a DD within 2 hours of where we live Only a few KK's.
