I was watching last night and they had another show about the Dungars. It was called on the road with 16 children. This time they take a family vacation in a trailer (and a van with another trailer) across the country, ending up at DISNEY LAND! pooh: :tinker: :simba: :goofy: :tink:

It was a pretty cute show. :thumbsup2

When I 1st heard of this family I really thought the mother must be nuts. Honestly the more I see of them, the more I really like them. I am really fascinated by them. While their life is very different then mine, I love how they function together and work together. It was really cute to see them all at WDW. I assume they will reshow it (or this is a reshow and I just caught it for the 1st time yesterday.) It appears they were guests of DL for the celebration. I hope Disney footed the bill, it would cost close to a $1,000 for one day admission for them.

Now what I really want to see next is the mother going on "what not to wear" or "10 years younger" and her getting a whole new makeover and hair cut. (that works for her life.) I think after that many years of having children she deserves a little TLC! :rotfl:

Oh wow, that's pretty cool, if only I had time to watch TV.

I hope they show it again. I really want to see that. I saw them on the Today show talking about their MONTH long vacation!

I think this is the strangest family ever, but I am totally intrigued by them! Whenever they are on FH tells me that my "Favorite Family" is on TV. I don't agree with the home schooling thing but to each his own. They make this work for them and that is great. Believe me, if I had the means to do it I would love to have 16 children!

I do agree that she needs a makeover, but then you would have to do the whole family! The younger girls dress just like their mom... But I believe their conservative dress is part of their religion (I am not sure what that is though, seeing as church is held at their house) :confused3

But I love watching them!

I can just see her in stiletto heels and a leather bustier.

I was thinking more along the lines of a nice hair cut (something that isn't a 1980's style) and a comfortable outfit, but I think she would look suprizingly good in stiletto heels and a leather bustier for a women who had 16 kids. ;)

At least they got out of the house for a little while. Too bad they still were not allowed to interact with the general public like normal kids.

I think that's what my biggest problem is. They are strange because I don't even know if they realize that there are other people in the world. Even in one of the episodes on TLC about them, the only interaction that you saw with them and other people was a family exactly like them. They even had to build their own house!!!!

Still love 'em!
