Dumbest commercial

Seems all of the auto insurance companies are in a contest with each other to produce the oddest commercials. Between Liberty Mutual, Geico and Progressive, having some kind of sideshow with their actors has replaced any kind of ad about why their insurance might actually be better/cheaper.

So many commercials are so ridiculous. One that drives me nuts is the one where the husband buys a truck and an SUV as an early Christmas surprise. He expects to keep the truck, but that's the one that his wife wants. There are so many things wrong about that commercial, and I can't believe that anyone buys a Buick (?) because of that ad.

I hate the weird skittles commercials. I have to turn the channel.

i despise those - particularly the one with the young people picking skittles off the face....or milking a giraffe and getting skittles...

Also there is some weird commercial with Snoop Dogg and some other person and I don't even know what the commercial is for....

^^ I agree and think that about most car ads. Who is their intended audience and how can they think this will actually help them sell more of their cars? Their is one where a man/woman come running out of a forest and jump in their car (can't recall the brand) and drive off in a hurry. I have NO idea what they are running from (did they commit some crime, is someone chasing them, stumbled onto wild animals.........?) and the ad just makes NO sense to me.

I hate the Plexaderm ads. Between the twitchy eyeballs in the time lapse video to the over the top dialog, it’s like fingernails down a chalkboard.

Are you talking about the one with Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg for Tostitos chips and the guacamole salsa? I don’t like that one either.

They are mostly stupid but there are a couple I do like. I couldn't tell you which companies they are for though. The one with the aunts who come to stay makes me smile, and the one about turning into your parents with the guy who runs a support group for them. Hate any Liberty Mutual commercial and would not buy from them because of it.

I find the Progressive ads that say they can't protect you from becoming your parents very annoying and very disrespectful. I don't know who their parents are but I would be happy to be like my parents.

YES WHAT THE HECK IS EVEN HAPPENING ughhhh
The only plausible explanation I can think of is that they will come out with more commercials the reveal something. Or not. I like Snoop and enjoy listening to Bad Bunny- but this commercial if definitely strange.

The one with Amy Schumer acting surprised when someone tells her that tampons come in different absorbency sizes. She’s like 40 and has entire monologues devoted to the female reproductive system ... of course she knows this! So does every other female over the age of 12! It’s so stupid that it’s irritating.

I know! Like an adult woman hasn't actually shopped for tampons a time or three. And perhaps spotted different styles, packaging, or even--gasp!--different brands.

Maybe it's because I didn't grow up with that environment of it's okay to talk about but those I can see being helpful for a tween or teenager just getting it and not knowing it. Or for someone who doesn't have a mother figure in their life to teach them but that's just me.

To me, the dumbest commercial is the liberty mutual ones that are all on that boardwalk looking at the Statue of Liberty. Each one of them is ridiculous and makes no sense.

I hate most commercials.....try to avoid them but with a cheap hulu plan I've been forced to watch a million progressive insurance ones:scared: one commercial I REALLY HATE (other than those sad animal in cages ones that I can't watch) I HATE the M&M's cannibal commercials...they aren't funny and they creep me out.... why would they want to eat each other like cannibals? so many scenarios where the M&M people start eyeing each other as food..... and then the potential victim gets all worried....that's not funny.

The commercial with the guy in the cell phone costume jumping into a huge bag of rice made me laugh so much. :rotfl:
