I've never 1) paid for earling boarding or 2) flown a connecting flight with SW, so bear with me.

If I change a flight that I've paid for early boarding, does that transfer as well? And - on a connecting flight, does the early boarding continue on your next leg?

Thanks!!

As long as you do a change and not a cancel and rebook (to take advantage of a ding you have to cancel and rebook) then you do retain your EBCI when you change flights. Note that your confirmation number stays the same and it should show the little EBCI icon when you're done.

When you're checked in automatically by the system for your originating flight at T-36 before that flight, you'll also be checked in for your connection so really you're checked in for that one before even the people on that connecting flight who purchased EBCI and are starting their itineraries on that flight.

Just keep in mind that if you are transferring to a connecting flight, an early boarding number may not be too helpful, depending on how many people are already sitting on the plane from the originating flight.
