Dumb ? Re harry potter

We are planning to go to us tomorrow and know we need to be there by 8:30 for Harry potter but where do we go? Just yo the main entrance of iOa? Is there a good place to park that shaves off any time? What should we expect at rope drop? Will it be at 9 or do they start a little early? Thanks!

You just park in the parking garage wherever the TM's direct you to. It's an easy walk to the entrance of IOA (can use moving sidewalks to make it easier too) and then once you get inside, walk through Port of Entry and turn to the right when you reach a T-junction. You walk through Seuss Landing and after that it'll be pretty clear where WWoHP is.

We arrive early but we haven't experienced getting in much earlier than opening.

Just follow the crowd

Make a Right at the lake and go through Suess Land.

you could go around green eggs and ham and shave off a minute or two, but if you are not familiar with that route, just stick with the crowd.

Could someone explain what and where the moving sidewalks are? I should clarify, I know what they are but not where they are and how they work at US. Thanks

They are at the entrance as soon as you come from the parking garage just before you enter city walk

You'll find the moving sidewalks all along the walkway to Citywalk. We like them because we continue to walk if we can and it really gets you through the area quickly. Plus they are nice at night when I don't want to walk much.
