Dumb question

We are a group of five adults going to Universal for the first time. Our DD is a huge Jurassic Park fan. Is there a Jurassic Park attraction?
I know there is one at Universal California but cannot confirm if there is one in Orlando.

Yes. Main attraction is Jurassic Park River Adventure. It's the same ride essentially to what was in California before they changed it in Hollywood last summer.

Section in green is themed to Jurassic Park and includes:

• Camp Jurassic - children's play area
• Pteranodon Flyers - ride for children 36"-56"
• Jurassic Park River Adventure - main attraction
• Jurassic Park Discovery Center - exploration center themed similarly to the main center in the first movie
• Thunder Falls Terrace, Pizza Predatoria, The Burger Digs, The Watering Hole - dining options

Not a dumb question.
There is an entire section devoted to Jurassic Park. But...

JP is undergoing renovation. They are installing a new coaster and the River run is under renovation. RR should be finished by now, but I would check first before you get DD excitement up.

Last time I was there it was closed a few weeks ago, but right now on the app it states 5 minute wait. That being said, just double check still as I'm not sure if they open and close it due to the work. As I thought it was strange it was closed when I happened to pass it since prior to that I seemed it always appeared open according to the app. If it's open now, then it was only under refurb very briefly if that was truly the reason.

If they still have the raptor encounter it was super realistic. I love the Jurassic Park movies however do not like thrill rides. Still very much enjoyed the Jurassic area. Then I watch YouTube videos of the thrill rides I won't go on at home on the TV.

Rix Flix recently had a YouTube video showing it open again. I think it closed for yearly maintenance, which explains why it was so brief.
