I told you I'd be here all week.
That's not true, my sons cost $26 and change with my AP discount.
As to the OP, they make your child happy and think they can cast spells.![]()

I also believe they have them set up by some 'method' to find your special wand... something like birth month and last initial or some such - I can't quite recall if someone could toss me a rememberall here...
As I recall my 'personal design' was actually a pretty cool one with a skull head on the handle. They had quite a few to choose from in additional to replicas from main characters from the movie. They were definitely going for authenticity versus gimmicky (no lights or sounds)
Do the wands from Olivander's actually do anything? Like light up or anything like that?
Are they the same quality as the wands from the Noble Collection?
Or even the same wands?
If so then $30 isn't bad I figured they would be more than that at the park.

That is too bad that they aren't as nice. I hope they are at least decent and not junky. My DD has several of the Noble ones and she really wants to get one of the wands that are chosen for you at the park.

I actually like the Ollivanders wands more than I do the Nobel wands. I have had the full Nobel collection for years now, and I think the Ollivanders wands are more detailed and of a sturdier design. I also like the boxes better. For a Potter collector that box that says "Oliivanders" is the main thing you want. It was something not available before now and it looks amazing in my display.
I have had no issue with the boxes holding the wands securely as the box holds them in place perfectly. This is how I display them and have never had it come loose once, let alone fall out of the box:

They are still nice but not as nice. You can check online to see them.

I hope your daughter realizes that the process of the wand choosing you doesn't happen to everyone. One person in each show of 25-30 people gets chosen to have the wand choose them.
