dumb question on the bus schedules

Forgive me, but I am a newbie and have a question about riding the bus. We are staying at ASMo and plan to do breakfast at Chef Mickeys at 7:30 am. How difficult will it be to get there on time?

From what I read, it sounds like there will be buses that run early just for the character breakfasts. So, will I actually be able to ride a bus directly to the restaurant from my hotel? (you can't normally go from hotel to hotel via bus during the day, right?) and is 7:30 too early, should I push back the ADR to be safe?

Any ideas from experienced Disney veterans would be appreciated.

Am I crazy and over planning or am I just being smart to figure this stuff out ahead of time?!?

Thanks in advance for your help.

There are early buses that will take you, for the most part, to the parks. But, some have reported having good results by letting the driver know where they are headed. Some drivers, if the bus isn't too crowded, will let you off at the resort if it's close by the park they are going to.
So...in your case...I would be out at the bus stop by 6:30. Always plan on it taking longer than you think. You will take the MK bus. If you can't get dropped off directly at the CR, and to be honest..I have never asked to be dropped there.....just get off the bus at the MK and then head over to the CR via the pathway. You need to walk towards the entrance to MK, with the bus stop area on your right. As you pass the street where the buses enter, on the right, just veer off to the right..you'll see the walkway. It runs almost directly underneath the monorail line. Follow it to the CR...about an 8 minute walk and very pleasant. Then go up to Chef Mickeys, check in at the podium and enjoy!!!!!

plan onbeing there early for your reservation too! there is a large line for Chef Mickey even with reservations.. and they process everyone through the family photo, etc too so it takes time.

Sorry I've never had an ADR that early but I would agree that giving youself atleast an hour to get there using the bus is a good bet. If you have your own transportation driving yourself might be a better way.

My suggestion is get to the bus stop early and take the MK bus. Then when at the MK, take the monorail to the resort! We did that to get to Poly from CSR by 7:50am and it was great! My family loves the monorail to it was perfect! Have a great trip!

It sounds fun, good luck. We are also trying to figure out how to get around to the different places to eat from POFQ.
