Dumb question but I gotta ask.......

I am looking at possibly staying in a 1 bedroom villa in OKW, if I book it, do I still get mousekeeping every day? I like having them in to just "freshen" up the room a little.

Also, can anyone tell me if Saratoga villas are nice? It looks like OKW has been renovated fairly recently but I do not see anything that tells me about renovations at saratoga.

Lastly, I have never stayed at either of these resorts, how are they in general?

If you are booking through DVC, you will not get daily housekeeping. If you are making a cash booking, you will. I happen to love OKW and always choose that as my first choice to stay when I can rent points. OKW is big and spread out. There are several bus stops through the resort. THe only thing that isn't great is the counter service. There is just one small place by the main pool and the menu is small and the hours aren't great.

If you book a reservation through Disney's website (disneyworld.disney.go.com), or by calling Disney's reservation line, you will get daily housekeeping.

If a DVC member makes a reservation for you with their points, or you are a member using your own points to book, you will be on a limited housekeeping schedule, but will have the option to purchase additional housekeeping visits/services for a fee.

Those are both nice resorts, we are DVC members and have stayed at both several times. You already know that the rooms are larger at OKW, it's a nice laid back place and Olivia's is often described as a hidden gem for TS. SSR is also pretty laid back and you can walk or boat to DS. Just a heads-up, once you stay in a DVC one bedroom villa, you won't want to stay in a regular hotel room again
