There is a known issue with MEP and Spouse passes. It is not an issues that can be fixed at this time. It has been an issue since at least Nov of last year. The touch points do not recognize the spouse pass. The CM has to ask for a lead and the lead has to swipe the spouse pass and it will let them in. My wife and I dealt with in Nov and in Feb. Then in Feb the RFID chip in her pass went out as well. So we had to visit Celebration. They reprinted the pass but told us we would have the same spouse pass issues the next time we visited.
