Dumb question about pin trading.....

I know this is a very dumb question but I just want to make sure....


My son wants to trade a pin, so he goes up to a CM. He asks the CM to trade.

Now, does he pick a pin from the CM first? And if he finds one he wants does he OFFER a certain a pin to the CM or does the CM get to PICK which pin they want?

Now I assume it is different if 2 guest trade. We don't plain to do that on this trip.

The CM will take whatever pin you offer unless they already have the pin or if its not a "legal" trade (ie if ya brought for example- Universal studios pins to trade)
