dumb question about AAA rates

Sorry for this question-- but I was wondering-- are the AAA rates for Room ONLY-- can you still get the Disney packages (with dining and tickets?)

From what I was told by WDW TA last month when making my plans, the only way to get AAA room rate, Dining Plan and Tickets is to book directly through AAA.

If you book through WDW, you are only allowed one discount. It was explained to me that my choice would be either the AAA room rate, OR, the room at rack rate, but I could then add the dining which is considered a discount in Disney's eyes.

I was rather shocked at this myself, but WDW specifically told me one or the other, not both. I called twice to see if I would be given the same answer, and I was.

You are still only allowed one discount. but you can book a package only through AAA to get the room portion discounted. You can also book said package with AAA discount and then if a code comes out that is a better deal call AAA and have them apply the Code INSTEAD of the AAA discount.
you can only room only AAA discount through Disney directly.
