Dumb MK fireworks question from a novice.

When I look at the schedule it says "Wishes" starts at 10pm (in May) and the park closes at ....10pm.

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but what am I missing? Is it that at 10pm you can't get into the park anymore? Otherwise it doesn't make much sense.

Its a very common practice at WDW to use some fireworks shows to help "clear the attractions" by bringing most guests "out to see the show"... so that its easier and faster for the CM's to "shut-down" for the evening.

This is particularly true at Epcot, as IllumiNations is slated (nearly) every night at 9pm... "closing time."
