This is a really stupid question, but....when I make grilled cheese, I use 1 pan. Can only fit 2 sandwiches in. Make both DDs their sandwiches, then make the 2nd batch in the same pan. Problem is, the 2nd batch, the bread gets browned quicker cuz the pan is really hot already, and in order to get the cheese melted, the bread is almost burnt. Now, I know I could use 2 pans, but thats more dishes and mess to clean up. Anyone else have this problem? Any solution other than 2 pans?
