My cousin and his wife are taking their 17 month old daughter on our March cruise.
They have asked me questions that I have no answer for.

1.) They are interested in the glass bottom boat at CC. The age says 3-9 for kids. Does this mean that under 3 is free? OR does it mean that kids under 3 can't go?

2.) Is flounder open while the ship is in CC? If so are they allowed to leave the child at the flounders if they want to go the excursion with out taking her?

thanks

It means that under 3 can not go. I would guess it is a matter of having a properly sized life jacket?

As for Flounders I can't help with that one. I know the kids programs are essentially in operation - a good part of the time based on the island. But have never traveled with one little enough to need Flounders.

i know its not answering the question ur asking but we did that excrusion and HATED IT. Maby it was just not for us. We took a bumpy hour ride to see some rocks and maby 2 fish. It was very dissapointing:(

I have tried talking them out of it. We did a smiliar excursion a few years back on a different trip that didn't cost near as much as the glass bottom boat at CC. I can think of much nicer things to spend the extra money on. I guess since non of them swim much and they are taking the grandma & grandpa along on the cruise they thought it would be neat for them to do the glass bottom excursion.
The rest of the group that also has a Gpa&Gma along for the trip will be sitting on the beach with our toes on the sand and a nice big drink on our hand. :D :bounce: :bounce:
