I reserved our car for 1:00 pm pick-up, our flight gets in at 12:20. If our flight is late, say by an hour or two, they will still have my reservation, right? On the drop off, we have it scheduled to drop off at 1:00 PM, if we drop it off, say 2 hours early, do they credit that time?
 
Some rental agencies will hold your car if you call them and let them know your flight is late, but the car is less likely to be held if it is a busy time like Daytona Week.

The agency will usually hold your car if they accept and you provide your flight number for that purpose.

If you return a car early you only get a credit if your total time goes below the previous day 24 hour boundary limit.

Note: Sometimes a weekly rate can turn back into a more expensive daily rate if you return a car early.

You should have your flight number in your reservation. You can also call and alert them of the new time. No they will not credit that time.

Check before leaving what time they have you picking up the car on the contract along with the return time. Sometimes the time will differ from what you requested to the actual pickup time.
