Dumb ? about LeCellier

Ok, I am a very picky eater. And well we made a ressie for our Anniversary for LeCellier
I wanted to get the Filet Mignon with the mushroom stuff, but here is my question. I dont like the mushroom stuff so can I just get Filet Mignon with the cream cheese mashed potatoes. I know 3 years ago when we went on our honeymoon they had that on their menu. SO do you think its possible they will substitue that ??
I guess I could always say Im allergic to mushroom

You should have no problem substituting the side for any other side they are offering.
I don't know that I would tell them you are allergic to mushrooms though. Just asking to sub should be good enough.

I go there for my birthday every year, and I am like the OP, Last time I ordered they did substitute the mushrooms side for me!

Now if they had grilled onions with garlic butter!!!

I just read a dining report where a lady ordered the mushroom filet without the risotto and subbed the cream cheese mashed potatos, so I am sure they will be able to accomodate you!
