Duffy the Bear at the Royal Tea

I’m taking my two daughters to the Royal Tea. My son has no interest - until he sees the gifts the girls will receive. Sooo I was curious if one of the stores on board would have a Duffy Bear like they give out at the tea.

If they don’t, I’m debating purchasing the bear ahead of time. What size is the bear from the tea? Guessing 18” based on pics have found but I can’t really tell.

How old is your son? The Knights package includes Duffy. The Princess package includes a Cinderella doll.

He is 8 but won’t be going to the tea. My oldest daughter (12) will be more interested in the knight themed gifts which includes the bear. My plan is to ask for those gifts instead of the princess themed gifts. The youngest (5) will be over the moon with the princess themed gifts.

And even though he would rather go to the kids clubs - and will probably have a better time! - I think my son will feel left out after the fact. I’m trying to keep the peace by figuring out options ahead of time.

Have you ever seen Duffy in the shops on board?

My kids love Duffy and I ended up having to buy one on eBay for my younger son (8 now) a few years ago because I couldn't find one anywhere!

Haha - I’m reaching the same conclusion!! I wanted to make sure I buy one the same size as what’s offered on the cruise. Oh the things we do….

If you can't find a bear, you could just let him pick out something from the gift shops. I'm sure he would find something he'd like as much as the bear.

For sure! Thanks! What is the stuffed animal selection look like these days? I remember going to the World of Disney in the fall and being very disappointed with the lack of stuffies there. Are there many on the shops these days?
