Ok since my last post and all the great advice DH is considering doing a small purchase now. We are looking at a 50-60pt. resale contract. Later we will buy more pts. Right now we want to pay cash and not have to take out a loan for the purchase. Anyway we were wondering what the costs are for dues per point? We would like to know what they are for all the DVC resorts.
Thanks!

2004 Dues for the DVC resorts are as follows..........

OKW-$3.68
SSR -$3.80
HHI-$3.86
BCV-$4.17
VWL-$4.22
BWV-$4.25
VB - $4.67

Hi Desnik,
It's great to see a neighbor here on the boards!

Thanks! Am I getting this right? If I Buy 60pts. at OKW it will cost $220.80 per year in dues? Also why is Vero's dues so much higher?

I think we might be the only people on these b:Pinkbounc oards from Goshen. That's so cool, it really is a small world after all!!!:teeth:
We live in the Village and just moved here and we love it!

just a suggestion, but because of what you will pay in closing costs for that type of resale, I would consider a 150 point contract at minimum.

That may not sound right - but what I am trying to say is:

if you buy:

60 @ 72. per point plus $500.00 closing you are actually paying 80.33 per point

150 @ 72 per point plus $500.00 closing - 75.33 per point

Hmmmm....
More to think about:confused:
I see your point, but to buy the 150pts now I would need to finance and would be paying interest rather than just paying it cash for 50-60pts. Wouldn't that cost more in the long run?

Anyone know when you purchase a resale, how negotiable is the price and can you negotiate for the seller to pay the closing cost if you don't haggle with the price?
