Do the dues statement tell you why it may have jumped 8%

When you receive the info you can break it down into detail, and you can also have more info at the board meeting. I’ve seen a post somewhere here with numbers crunched with great precision. I can’t find it right now but I’m sure a kind soul here would find it.

Yes probably but it’s all real confusing to me and I’d have dig out my files and find last years breakdown to compare.

The reason that they had to create CCV and not just add it to BRV was due to the number of years left.

So they couldn’t add more invent to BRV to sell.

For awhile people were talking about a BLT expansion, is that now off the table? Doesn't it say somewhere in the POS that the cutoff is like 40 years remaining to add more units? Is the only way for them to add more DVC to Contemporary at this point to do a new association?

Well my people I did some digging and saw that last year we got our Aulani dues info around Nov 8 and the other resorts Nov 21. Oof this could be awhile waiting here...

Maybe, The Tomorrowland Tower with its own entrance?

Management fee and resort access fee both appear to have gone up by about 10%— is that anything other than Disney deciding to pay itself more?

Ok, so at least that part probably isn’t like owners getting charged for access to Aulani itself (I was thinking it was like a sneaky resort fee)…but still seems like a pretty big line item for some perks and why did it jump so much?

I don't think either these will have significant increases as they are both in active sales and this seems to help somewhat.

These are (supposed to be) set based on actual costs of the resort. The initial year is an estimate, and since the Aulani Debacle, they've set initial estimates on the high side. That leads to lower increases later.

What stood out to me is housekeeping

Also front desk. It would not surprise me to know that (a) labor costs went up a fair bit overall in the last year and (b) the Hawaii labor market has material differences vs. the mainland.

Roughly 3m of the 5m increase is housekeeping and front desk, either they got some raises or they increased staff numbers, or both.

It was what 3ish years ago when WDW housekeeping took a big jump due to a new contract they did? Will see another one for WDW resorts at some point in the future.

Info on the last contract they did, we had that big jump because they went from 17-20 immediately with it increasing to $24 by end of next year.

Could see them go back to the well to get more increases once this current deal ends.
