We will be going to Universal in Oct. and my whole purpose in going really is for the front of Fire. How are the crowds in Oct. there and wait kind of wait time can I expect for the front row of Fire? We haven't ever been to Universal Fl. b4 so we will be trying to do all we can in both parks, but Dueling Dragons is what I'm most looking forward to. TIA

If you get there early in the day and head directly for DD, you shouldn't have any problems with wait times. Since DD is on the back side of the park, it takes a while for people to get over there. You should be fine!

Thanks. We'll have the kids with us and I don't wanna make my parents wait with them too long. If it was a super long wait then I guess I'll have to settle for another seat.

No problem. Fire is my personal favorite and I usually camp out in the second row. I don't like to wait for the front seat if I can get right on the coaster. I wouldn't fool with the EP for this attraction. It doesn't really save you a lot of time once you're inside the castle. BTW..be ready to walk. I swear DD has the longest queue on the planet!

Yeah thats what I've heard. Is the EP only for people staying at one of their hotels or anyone can get it. i know you said it dosen't make much since for this one, but I'm thinking of other attractions. Where can I find out which attractions use it?

Most of attractions at both parks use the EP.

At the Studios:
Jimmy Neutron
Twister
ROTM
Beetlejuice's Graveyard Revue
Earthquake
Jaws
T-2
MIB
BTTF
ET
Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster
Barney
Animal Planet Live
Universal's Horror Make-Up Show (I think Shrek now has the EP too)

At IOA:
Ripsaw Falls
Bilge-Rat Barges
JPRA
Posidon's Fury
Eigth Voyage of Sinbad
DD
Flying Unicorn
Spiderman
Hulk
Doctor Doom
Storm Force
Cat in the Hat
Car-Seuss-el
Cat in the Hat

And she's probably right around my age too right(30)? Everyone I have run into named Tara is between 25-35. It must have been a popular name back then.

I always go right back to the Dragons as soon as the park opens. It's totally empty back there. I ride the front row of Fire and Ice over and over with no wait. There is a re-entry right up there so you don't have to walk through the castle again once you're up there. Once you leave the loading area, look for the "re-entry" sign. You can ride many times with no wait.

There is a "child swap" area for the Dragons. You and your husband can take turns riding.

We just got back and had a blast!!!
With the EP you can get true front of the line with HULK, Spiderman and most of the water rides. I was disappointed with dueling dragons how they have the EP merge with the others in the castle where there is still a snaking line to choose which coaster. The Mummy too was totally right to the front for us.
Mythos was great! We had a great lunch. 11 of us walked right up at peak lunch hour and were seated almost immediately!

Your parents can take the little one to the Flying Unicorn coaster to ride it while you go on the Dragons.
Have your parents and kid walk thru the queue with you the first time. Tell the little one he's going to look at a horsey way up high. When you get to the coaster, they can exit, and on the path leading away, there are benches they can sit on and watch the coaster running. Walking thru the queue is an attraction in itself.

You guys are so helpful!!! I think we'll try to get there by opening, head straight for DD. It will be my parents and also my grandmother with us, so they'll take our 3 girls and maybe get something to eat or walk around or ride Unicorn. Maybe if DH and I run to DD we can ride b4 they ever even get to it. I heard it's in the back of the park. We'll figure it out. Thanks again
