Dueling dragons rehab

Which, to me, means that Dudley will be up and running before that. They seldom rehab two rides at once in the same park.

the paint is really faded. it must need a pretty good deal of enhancement to be down that long. thanks for the info phamton.

Oh CRUD! We'll be there at the beginning of May. My DD is going to be so dissappointed to hear this. Oh well, I guess this just gives us a good reason to plan another trip again soon.

Thanks for letting us know. Imagine our faces would have looked like as we had just raced to the other other side of the park to ride DD only to find out it was closed.

Do they have an emoticon for uncontrollable wailing?! We will be there the beginning of May, and DD is one of our favorites. Who do I need to talk to in order to postpone the refurb? Doesn't IOA know that it's all about me?!

We'll be there June 2 - 6. It should open back up while we're there. My younger DS, who will be 9 when we go and I have said we would ride it on the next trip! My older DS (12) and nephew (13) won't get on Dueling Dragons...they wouldn't even ride the Hulk last year! Little DS and I were the only ones to ride it! The boys don't know we're going back to Universal, we haven't told them yet!

DD certainly needs the paint job, we were there last week and it looked well baked. It looks as if they are working through the park many buildings were getting paint jobs in IOA two weeks ago. Lots of barriered areas at different times. The carousel was getting a repaint while it was running(the top).

Didn't Suessville look wonderful? They seemed to be giving everything a new coat of vibrant paint. Looks like they are getting ready for the whole area to be highlighted when the new ride opens.

i've only been to IOA once (jan 03) and it was down for rehab then. we are going this may 6-10 without the kids and i was dying to ride!
