DD and I are heading for our mother daughter trip on Friday.

I got a sick lil 7 mo old granddaughter staying with us for the weekend, hoping I don't catch it, but I just love her sooooo . I'll take my chances.

Also DD is all ichy and said her throat hurt yesterday, she has been popping advil which isn't like her. She looked online and it showed these are signs of chicken pox She had the vacine, but .

I had such an awful week. I am just hoping this is the end of it and my trip will go as planned. I haven't started to pack, no lists, nothing. Taking care of the baby and doing my own working and "mom" stuff has kept me busier than usual this week. It's been stressful and crazy.

Do you all realize how blessed we are when we actually get to go on a trip, can afford it and everyone is healthy and safe? That when everything is going smooth and we can enjoy a trip, we are sooo blessed for that. Timing is everything and one never knows when the poop is gonna hit the fan.

I so pray for a healthy and calm week ahead. I want to get that dole whip and wear my new "DIS Unplugged" in Bob's memory shirt.

We are going in a few days as well. Dh will have a Dole whip for Bob...I am afraid I can't, not even for Bob!!

We leave in 7 days and DD5 said her ears are popping and it hurts to swallow. I told DH (medicine man) to load her up, because she isn't allowed to get sick. Humidifiers are running on full blast.....

Hope you guys have a safe week and a wonderful trip at WDW.. We are headed there in less than 2 weeks.. so Im also hoping for us to stay healthy til then..

All will be well I am sure. The last week before our trip in May of 07 we had a stomach virus that made the rounds of our house. Thankfully everyone healed for the most part before departure. DH slept it off on the way down in the car, and when we arrived he was pretty much back to his usual self.

So far all is well. DD feels fine- no itching YAY! DGD is back home and I wont see her again till I get back Thats the one thing that stinks about my trips... leaving the baby for that long is too hard. BUT when I complained- both my son and DIL said "take her with you then!" Then she said no no and laughed. I told her do NOT say those words unless she means it LOL You wont have to tell me twice I can take- and we are GONE!!

So DD and I are loading up on airborn LOL and vit C this week. Gonna make sure we sleep lots so our immune systems are in full swing. Just wondering how I am gonna work and do all this packing and such LOL You'de think I would be a pro by now.

I do have my NEW Unplugged shirts and am going to iron o nthe sad Mickey, if I do nothing else, this will get done!!!
