Due to fly 2nd December........

Ok guys. Simulator is happening on 25th November, exactly one week before we fly.
This has taken our excitement away before we go but we are still preparing for our holiday. As insurance was taken out after Abigail was born, and this condition she seems to have been born with (although no one told us so)!!
we have a LOT of money to lose. Maybe some of us will go. We are not sure of anything at the moment. We are just planning a day at a time.

Will keep you posted......

I hope that everything works out ok for you :)

Just check your policy as it's usually goes by diagnosis date. The fact your grand daughter was born with it may not be when she was diagnosed with it. If you had the insurance before diagnosis you MAY be covered.

Good luck with the tests. Regardless of age - it's disappointing when anyone has to cancel as it affects the whole group

Sending pixie dust and hugs that it all works out. Whether your grand daughter is fit to fly is out of your hands, fingers crossed she will be, not much you can do but keep everything crossed till the simulator. Yes I know it will be hard to walk around with everything crossed but needs must.;)

Look forward to hearing that everything went well next week.:goodvibes

You are all lovely people and thanks for the concern.
Abigail is a happy baby so we are still holding our breath for next Wednesday.
Airline has said that we are allowed to take a POC onboard. (Personal oxygen concentrator) which doesnt weigh very much. We thought we would check it all out anyway. It all comes down to the simulator test.......haven't got the cases down just yet.....

Well guys. The simulator test has been done and guess what - yes Abigail passed the test with flying colours. Just to meet with the Consultant on Monday morning but we have the green light. So now I can do the single digit dance:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:
At least we all know that we are going now.:cool1:

That's brilliant news! :thumbsup2 I'm so happy for you :goodvibes

get those cases out!!!!:cool1: happy for you

We are still waiting to see whats going to happen with my mum (still in hospital still waiting on the echo cardiogram), can't believe its happening to us again after having to cancel in oct because my eldest girl was ill (she has a mass 20cm removed from her pelvis, we only just got the go ahead to go a few weeks back when test showed not cancer, and we were so excited that the holiday was going to happen !! This is our last chance to go away as a family before my eldest starts exams after easter then she's has a job lined up for the the summerand after that she moves away to uni, so I will be soo..... dissapointed if we do have to cancel- but familys health comes first.:sad1:

I think you and your family have MORE than earned this holiday. I hope it is the best, most magical time you have EVER had and that this one will always stand out as one of those extra special memories. Hope your mum is okay. :goodvibes

Fantastic news, enjoy your holiday.

mackay, have everything crossed for you, hope things work out.
