Immediately after the drop you are going to get soaked when the ride levels out. Your brain will adjust to the sense of gushing water being sprayed on you and will quickly forget about the drop!!!

Go for it!!! You'll be back in line for more!

I usually get soaked on some of the smaller drops, especially the train one...

This is my 8 year olds favorite ride! He and my husband get a huge kick outta this ride. I have to walk away cause it scares the crap out of me to watch my little guy with no restraints! I just cant handle it. I think I will surprise them next month and do it with them!

I find the drop about the same as Splash Mountain or Journey to Atlantis.

I talked DD (7) into going on it which was a mistake as she hated it.

For me the drop isn't the worst bit, it's when it comes back up after the drop - I thought I was going to come out the raft.

I just rode this for the first time in a few months. Well, they added more dividers (seat backs). Not necessarily a good thing. My god, that's a tight fit. There's no leg room anymore. At all. And everyone is squished SO close together, the hair of the girl in front of me was practically right in my face the entire ride. Very akward, considering I have no idea who they were. It's like "Uhhm, hi, I'm the complete stranger who is about to spend 2 minutes closer to you than any complete stranger ever has before. We might as well get to know each other." On another note, the drop seemed less intense, and ended more quickly.
