Ducktales World Showcase timeline

Does anyone have any idea when the Ducktales World Showcase adventure is coming? I know it’s replacing Agent P, which only shows that it’s available for one more week. We did Agent P about 5 years ago last time we were there and really had fun with it. My kiddo was bummed to hear it wouldn’t be there this time, but got excited when she found out Ducktales was replacing it. We’re going to be there first week in March. Does anyone know if it might be up and running by then?

When this was announced there was no timeline given and none of the Disney sites I follow was speculating. I haven’t gone looking since but I’d love to know too.

I did not know about this. I'm glad I found this post. One of my favorite cartoons as a kid and I really like the new one that has been on. Was so awesome how they added Uncle Scrooge and Launch Pad to the meet and greats at AK over the past year now.

Bumping this because I was just trying to do some digging myself. Everything I could find said it's coming Summer 2020, so I wonder what the plan is now. Anyone hear any news? I would LOVE to do this on our September trip.

considering many of the interactive elements embedded are within stores in the WS, and many of those stores will not be opening with the July restart, I would not think this is up and running any time soon.

Thank you for your response! I thought I saw in another thread someone saying there may be hope it's actually opening soon. So I wasn't sure! It's a good point about the closed stores, though if I'm remembering correctly the one we did was mostly outside store windows and other outside elements, we didn't have to go inside the stores themselves.

It depends on how many practical elements were to be added and how far along those were in central shops.... as well as what PP mentioned about not all indoor shops/areas being open right away plus would an interactive like that even be an option with social distancing ( I know midway through agent Ps run it switched from flip phones to part of Disney Play so touch points wouldn’t be as strong as a factor

That said I firmly believe pre covid it would of opened in June or July with ratatouille.... now I’d say it will still open whenever ratatouille does or by itself sometime between fall 2020 & summer 2021 if not scrapped

I also hadn't heard about this. Loved Ducktales! I did the Kim Possible one way back when and that was really fun.

We enjoyed this when it was Kim Possible and Agent P, so looking forward to the new experience.
