I'm thinking about taking DH to Dublin for his birthday in July. Can anyone suggest any nice central hotels?

I went a few weeks ago and stayed at the Harcourt Hotel and really enjoyed it. A large group of us went and it's got it's own bar under the hotel which seemed really popular too. It was a 5 min walk into the actual city centre and we had such a good weekend...went as a group for someones birthday.

Thanks I'll check that out.

We went a few years ago & stayed right by Trinity College which seemed to be central to everything. I can't remember the hotel name off the top of my head but i'll see if I can find it for you.

We stayed at Jurys Christchurch which was lovely and just a short stroll down to Temple Bar, it's directly opposite Christchurch Cathedral and the open topped bus stops outside if you fancy doing a tour..

You will have a great choice of hotels in the dublin city the ones that have been mentioned so far are all nice hotels :)
