Dublin hotel help.

We are going to Ireland at half term and need a hotel for a night. I was looking at Travel lodges, but wondered if anyone had any recommendations. We want somewhere not too expensive, with parking. Thanks

The hilton has some good offers, it was the kilmahain near the jail, not sure if I have spelt it correctly.It was a bit out of it but if you dont mind walking it was really nice, ovely italian next to it
It was inclusive of breakfast which is good, we found Dublin very,very expensive.

there is a €50 per room sale on at the moment in the bewleys hotels
we have only stayed at the airport one but I think there are all the same

Another vote for Bewleys I stayed here a few times and the locations is excellent, rooms nice too There was a hotel called Blooms in Temple bar looked pretty nice.

We've stayed at Blooms twice now and its really nice but its right in the Temple Bar area and as far as I know they didn't have any parking!
The open topped sight seeing buses stop outside of Kilmainham Gaol so the hotels near there would be ok! The Gaol is a great place to visit - very interesting and moving.
Enjoy your time there wherever you decide to stay!

We stayed at the Rathmines Travelodge. It cost 39 euro for the night. It's about 10 mins bus ride from the centre although we walked it and it took about 25 mins.
The room was huge, basic but very clean. I would definately stay there again.

Stayed at The Burlington early December. Nice hotel if you can get a good deal. Had a bigish car park and a fab cocktail bar. It was about 20minutes walk to the centre but we ended up getting a few taxi's more because it was freezing cold rather than the walk. We were going to stay at Jurys Christchurch but it sold out before i could book it but we past it and it's in a great position. I would definately try there just because it's so close to the centre.
