We are currently looking for a dual dvd player that we can use in our van but we want one that has rechargeable batteries like the single ones so we can take it with us on the plane when we fly to Disney. We are having a hard time finding one with a battery and that will last. Can you please help us?:confused3
Plus, we don't want to spend a TON of money! Any advice or help that you can give us would be great!

Well, 3 yrs ago, we bought the Kodak one b/c it had a smaller battery than our old one. Even with a "spare battery", we only managed to get 1.5 movies out of it (bought it for transAtlantic flights of 8+ hrs), and the hookups for between the screens never quite worked properly. The kids were just as happy to share a single screen b/c it worked right that way.

So, avoid the Kodak.

Our older one, and the one we actually use a lot, is so old that the battery is huge and impractical. We use it for car trips. It is a Durabrand (Walmart) with a single thick cable that works perfectly (as compared to *3* for the Kodak that get tangled all the time).

If I were in the market for new, I'd go Durabrand.
