...can we get a credit if only one segment went down?
We booked our tickets on AirTran yesterday. We bought 9 tickets at $92/$92 (depart/return). Then, since there was only one ticket on the departing flight left at $92, we ended up getting our next "batch" of 6 tickets at $115/$92.
Today, I went to the AirTran website and now I see that I can get 6 tickets for $92/$115. So, I'm wondering... can we get a credit for the departing fare that dropped? That would get us a credit of $138 which would cover 2 of our planned upgrades. Or do they look at the total fare for the itinerary? In this case, the current total cost would be the same since the return went up to $115.
