DTD Traffic?

DW and I are thinking of heading to DTD on our first day, just wondering how bad the traffic might be. We'll be arriving on a Sunday, and would spend the afternoon there. Are the busses back to the resorts impacted in any way?

DW and I are thinking of heading to DTD on our first day, just wondering how bad the traffic might be. We'll be arriving on a Sunday, and would spend the afternoon there. Are the busses back to the resorts impacted in any way?

The buses are not directly affected by the traffic; they are taking a different route that avoids all of the construction. There might be a slight delay as they approach the Marketplace if traffic is backed up all the way to SSR.

However, if leaving DTD between 11 a.m & 2 p.m., buses still stop at TL on the way to the resorts, but the new route takes a roundabout way to TL, possibly adding 10-15 minutes travel time. The impact on buses to SSR is even more severe, since they have to drive past the resort to TL & then backtrack. After 2 p.m., buses go directly to the resort and this factor goes away.
