DTD/TL Bus Question

We usually rent a car but I am trying to save a few bucks and use Disney transportation this summer. I was wondering if the busses that go to DTD usually drop off at TL first then go on to DTD or vice versa (while TL is open, of course.) We would like to go to DTD after TL and were wondering if we could take the bus or if we will have to walk. Thanks.

As a rough rule, morning buses go to Typhoon Lagoon before Downtown Disney, afternoon buses go to DTD first. I was told that one resort's DTD bus, don't remember which or whether still in effect, does it in the other order.

It's not really walkable. You would need to take a bus to a resort and then take a DTD/TL bus coming back. From TL you can take the Saratoga Springs bus, get off at Congress Park, and it is walkable to DTD from there.
