DtD table service meal plan - surcharge PH & WPC? Help Please????

Hi,
I am sorry if this has been asked previously.
DH and myself are going to try the meal plan for 2 days in July 06
(we are DVC members and have a split reservation - 2 dayys SSR, 7night cruise, 5 nightsSSR)

I was looking at tabe service opitions @ SSR & DTD as we are travelling from UK and will be exhausted not wanting to travel to far to eat the day we arrive. (plus no car)

I notice that the 2 table service options @ DTD are Planet Hollywood and Wolfgang Puck Cafe but it says Payment of a surcharge is required for certain menu entrees.

Just wondering how does this work?
Do you have a limited menu to choose from?
How much is the surcharge?
What items of the menu have the surcharge?

Any one with any advise on this please comment

Some said that the surcharge is only applicable to entrees over $22. So if you don't go for the surf and turf you should be ok.

We were told at PH that we could order anything except the surf and turf. We had an awesome dinner!

When I was there in Oct and ate at Wolfgang Puck's Cafe, I think the surcharge only applied to entree items that were over either $24 or $27. Either way, there was only one item on the menu that was over that amount.

And just to clarify, the entree had to be over the designated amount. If the entree cost exactly that much you would be able to order it with the dining plan without paying a surcharge.

Oh, and one more thing. Wolfgang Puck's Cafe is so good. When we return this will be must for us.
